Ingredients needed to make mashed potatoes with bacon:
1 kg of potatoes, half an onion, 50 g of bacon, salt, pepper, 50 g of ground crackers, 1 cup of beef broth, 50 g of vegetable oil.
Recipe for mashed potatoes with bacon:
Peel the potatoes, cut them in half, add boiling water, add salt, and cook until soft. Drain the water and thoroughly mash the potatoes.
Cut the bacon into small cubes. Cut the onion into thin slices. Fry the bacon with onion, add everything to the mashed potatoes, and pepper. Add beef broth to the puree and stir well.
Serve mashed potatoes with bacon to smoked meat or roast, first pouring vegetable oil and sprinkling with fried ground breadcrumbs.
